Posts: 237 (03/05/07 21:02:35) Expertninja Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I think Kishimoto's a tenchu fan, just look at kakashi, he's Rikimarus last twin brother, and Tenchu appeared before naruto, but anyway I really like naruto, actually I think Kishimoto couldn't have found a better ninja inspiration source than the Tenchu series The heaven's desire is your anihilation , and in order to fullfill it , I'll turn into divine justice, and bring the wrath of heaven to you

Kakashi-Rikimaru: We had a topic here called "Tenchu Look-a-likes" and we had a bunch of Rikimaru's twins(Brian Fury-Tekken, the dude from Samurai Deeper Kyou, etc.) It's just a popular character design, the scar on the eye and the grey hair with the lower part of the face covered up. Iruka-Tatsumaru: Can't say that I see any connection here. Anko-Ayame: I can see somewhat of a resemblence here. Shigi-Itachi: Don't know about this one. Orochimaru-Onikage: Only that they both have pale/white skin, black hair and they're both evil. Same as with Riki, there are tons of other characters that look similar. Tesshu-possibly master Guy: If you mean Gai, I don't see any connection whatsoever. otonin guy that uses rib sword-Jonin either color: Same here as above. Ayame-(just the name): You already said it, it's just a name, and a common one. Kureinai-(just the name): Same as the above. There are a lot of characters that look a like or are a like, but unless they're from the same creator, I doubt he based him on characters by others(though of course there are exceptions). *Quote:* I know there's more but I can't think of them right now and some music is similar also You'll notice that most ninja/samurai/fuedal japan-type game/movie/anime use similar music, cause it fits the mood.

Tenchu and Naruto both follow a long line of ninja fiction that has been around for decades. Neither are tremendously original. Just enjoy them for what they are.
